Document Assessment & Path Selection

Local Notarisation & Government Authentication
Documents are notarised locally by the appropriate authority in the country of issue. For Indian documents, this includes State HRD or Home Department authentication before MEA apostille. For UK, US, or other countries, the equivalent competent authority authenticates the document before apostille or central government legalisation.
Central Government Apostille or Attestation
For Hague member countries, the designated competent authority issues an apostille — for example, the MEA for Indian documents, the FCDO for UK documents, or the relevant authority for other countries. Since the UAE's Hague accession took effect 1 June 2024, these apostilles are accepted by most UAE authorities without a UAE Embassy step.
UAE Embassy Legalisation (Non-Hague / Authority-Specific)
For documents from non-Hague countries, or where a specific UAE free zone or bank requires additional legalisation beyond an apostille, we arrange UAE Embassy authentication in the country of issue as an additional step after the central government authority's attestation.
UAE MOFA Attestation (Where Required)
Some UAE authorities — certain banks, government ministries, or free zones — require UAE MOFA attestation even for apostilled documents. We confirm this requirement with the receiving authority before processing and arrange MOFA attestation where needed.
